Max Bonitz, born to Saskatchewan homesteaders Albert and Jacqueline Bonitz in 1919, was the proud owner of this fire chief's red-painted metal coupe. It was made by toy manufacturing giant, Louis Marx & Company of New York, which, coincidentally, also originated in 1919.
