My first dollshouse was a 1940's inexpensive metal house. I loved it dearly, but always dreamed of having one like this. I found a 1940's Cabinet House at the Salvation Army Thrift Shop recently. It still had most of its original furniture and 2 little German dolls[a boy and a girl] in it.
My childhood dream has come true !

My grandmother made me my first dollhouse. It was a light pink with darker pink edges. She even made me dolls for it.
