The game of Canadian History was produced by the Department of Agriculture and R. F. Wilton in 1867. The game consists of a series of trivia questions printed on 64 cards.

In the game of Canadian History, players take turns answering the questions, and keep the card for each correct response. If a question stumps all players, the answer is read and returned to the pile. Once all of the questions have been answered, the player having the most cards is the winner.
